About Him
People's first impression of me is usually fairly quiet and maybe even a little conservative. I am however lulling them into a false sense of security. As I get to know them, the more eccentric aspects of my character (like my sense of humour) reveal themselves. In amongst a group of good friends I am usually the life & soul of the party, leading them off on some foolish misadventure or another.
Musically, my tastes are diverse as I enjoy jazz, classical, rock and pop, probably only drawing the line at dance "music". It is similarly rare to find a movie genre I do not like. I am not especially keen on any particular sport, following sports results only to know whether to enthuse or sympathise on a Monday morning.
My favourite evenings generally depend on numbers. When there is a group of friends, I love to go down to the pub, having a chat over a pint or two. When there is just two, I like to perhaps stop in, cook a meal, share a bottle and snuggle in front of a movie. Solo evenings tend to revolve around a good book and some background music.

I’m looking for someone who’ll find at least some of my jokes funny (nobody on this planet finds them ALL funny). But seriously folks, I guess I’m looking for someone honest and caring. Someone with whom I can talk until the small hours and we have both totally lost track of time.
Someone who doesn’t mind being romanced by a guy who’s a bit of a softie at heart. Someone who believes equality doesn’t mean men can’t still hold the door open for a woman. I don’t really have a particular physical ideal, although I tend to know what I like once I’ve seen a girl smile.
